PROJECT: Trigg County Elementary, Middle and High School Safe Routes To School

COMPLETION DATE: July 2009
COMMENTS: This project was completed in July of 2009. Included in the design is the replacement of the sidewalks, new sidewalks where none existed, retaining wall, storm sewer, lighting and ADA crosswalks and ramps on selected routes to the Trigg County Schools complex. RJA was responsible for the survey, design, permits and construction management of this project. This project was managed under the new LPA guidelines just published when the construction phase started.
PROJECT: Downtown Renaissance
OWNER: City of Marion, KY
COMPLETION DATE: 2004-2007
COMMENTS: RJA has completed the design and construction inspection of Phase I and II of the City of Marion’s Streetscape Project. RJA was responsible for the design, preparation of plans and specifications for construction, bid review & recommendation, construction management & inspection and contract administration. Design included utility relocation where appropriate. RJA has cooperated with businesses to coordinate streetscape construction activities in order to minimize disruption to business.
PROJECT: Ruby Concrete Company – New Plant Site
COMPLETION DATE: 2008
COMMENTS: RJA is responsible for site design including engineered storm water controls, storm water permitting, and storm water best management practices plan.
PROJECT: Kimsley Lane Storm Water Analysis Project
COMPLETION DATE: 2008
COMMENTS: RJA is the consulting engineer to the Henderson Planning and Zoning Commission. Our responsibilities include engineering services as they relate to compliance to Henderson code and final plat submissions.
PROJECT: City of Madisonville – Land O’ Frost Turning Lane Design
OWNER: City of Madisonville, KY / Kentucky Transportation Cabinet
COMPLETION DATE: 2006
COMMENTS: RJA designed new turning lanes on US Highway 41A at Industrial Drive for Land O’Frost plant. These turning lanes will improve traffic flow and safety on a heavily traveled highway.
