PROJECT: Madisonville Industrial Park Infrastructure Improvements Phase 1, 2 & 3

COMMENTS: RJA has designed over 11,000 feet of 12” water line and 8,800 feet of 12” sewer line, including manholes, lift stations, highway and railroad bores for the Land ‘O Frost food processing plant.

PROJECT: Master Plan for the Hopkins County North Industrial & Recreational Park
OWNER: Hopkins County Industrial Development Authority

COMMENTS: RJA developed conceptual Master Plan Designs for future development of the site.  In order to completed this project an analysis of the property was completed for the purpose determining the optimum number of building sites, cut and fill calculations for all building sites including highway access, optimize traffic flow and safety, and internal road design, sidewalks and lighting, dam location, utility locations, accommodations for Americans With Disabilities Act, environmental friendly walking and biking trails, fishing lake with natural enhancements.  The approved Master Plan design included the use of existing drainage for Storm Water Compliance.  RJA verified preliminary cost estimates for the development of each phase of the parks development and compliance with appropriate laws that impact site development.

PROJECT: CSX – Passing Lanes – Western Kentucky

COMPLETION DATE: December 31, 2006
COMMENTS: This design project consisted of 14 miles of new railroad passing lanes at seven locations from Henderson, KY to Goodletsville, TN. RJA provided civil engineering services for the design all stormwater structures and, earthwork and sub-ballast for the project. RJA provided construction inspection and on site nuclear density testing.

PROJECT: City of Madisonville – Land O’ Frost Sewer Line Design
OWNER: City of Madisonville, KY Sewer Department
COMPLETION DATE: 2004
COMMENTS: RJA designed, for the City, a sewer line extension from an existing manhole behind Modern Welding to the Land O’ Frost property line.  This design includes the replacement of an existing manhole, 4 additional manholes and 1,600 feet of 12 inch gravity sewer.
