COMMENTS: RJA designed the site grade and drainage plan for a 15 year development plan. Included in the design was a landscaped walking trail and storm water detention lake.
PROJECT: West Kentucky Veterans Center / City of Hanson: Sewer Improvements

COMPLETION DATE: 2001
COMMENTS: The design consisted of 2,500 feet of 8 inch gravity sewer line. RJA designed a 300 g.p.m. lift station equipped with an emergency power source to service the system. RJA redesigned two other sewer lift stations as part of these sewer improvements. Over 2,500 feet of 10 inch water line was installed along with a 16 inch water meter pit to service the WKVC. RJA was responsible for engineering design, survey, permits and construction management.
PROJECT: Tradewater River Pedestrian Bridge
OWNER: City of Dawson Springs, KY
COMPLETION DATE: 1998
COMMENTS: RJA completed the design, permits and construction inspection of two pedestrian bridges spanning the Tradewater River. The bridge shown is at Tradewater Baseball Park and is 95 feet in length. The second bridge, spans the Tradewater River on the south side of Dawson Springs just off Highway 109 and is 102 feet in length. Both bridges are a part of the Pennyrile Trail. The bridges were designed to be maintenance free and retain the natural beauty of the surrounding area.
