PROJECT: Pennyrile State Forest Equestrian & Mountain Biking Trailhead Facilities

COMMENTS: RJA completed various design concepts and estimated project budgets for funding of the Pennyrile State Forest Equestrian & Mountain Biking Trailhead Facilities project. The design scope of work included trail clearing and repair, trailside facilities (benches, signage, ramps, kiosk, and waste receptacles, watering trough). Conceptual parking lot designs were completed for horse and biking enthusiast. One example is shown here.

PROJECT: Downtown Renaissance
OWNER: City of Marion, KY
COMPLETION DATE: 2004-2007
COMMENTS: RJA has completed the design and construction inspection of Phase I and II of the City of Marion’s Streetscape Project. RJA was responsible for the design, preparation of plans and specifications for construction, bid review & recommendation, construction management & inspection and contract administration. Design included utility relocation where appropriate. RJA has cooperated with businesses to coordinate streetscape construction activities in order to minimize disruption to business.

PROJECT: Ruby Concrete Company – New Plant Site
COMPLETION DATE: 2008
COMMENTS: RJA is responsible for site design including engineered storm water controls, storm water permitting, and storm water best management practices plan.

PROJECT: City of Madisonville – Land O’ Frost Turning Lane Design
OWNER: City of Madisonville, KY / Kentucky Transportation Cabinet
COMPLETION DATE: 2006
COMMENTS: RJA designed new turning lanes on US Highway 41A at Industrial Drive for Land O’Frost plant.  These turning lanes will improve traffic flow and safety on a heavily traveled highway.
